Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (ER/LR) in the Command Operations Department, Human Captial Management of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will be an advisor for labor relations issues in organizations with a wide variety of occupations with significant employee issues such as standby, overtime, shift, and environmental pay issues You will provide advice and assistance in the areas of discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling, and related functions. You will act as a technical advisor on controversial and complex Unfair Labor Practices and grievances. You will apply complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Acts as management advisor for labor relations issues in organizations with a wide variety of occupations with significant employee issues such as standby, overtime, shift, and environmental pay issues. 2. Acts as technical advisor on controversial and complex Unfair Labor Practices and grievances. 3. Provide assistance in the areas of discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling, and related functions. 4. Provide assistance on grievance procedures and options for resolution of conflicts or problems. 5. Skill applying complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques. GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Acts as management advisor for labor relations issues in organizations with a wide variety of occupations with significant employee issues such as standby, overtime, shift, and environmental pay issues. Organizations and local unions have diverse views, needs, and missions. 2. Acts as technical advisor on controversial and complex Unfair Labor Practices and grievances. 3. Provides advice and assistance in the areas of discipline, adverse actions, grievances, employee counseling, and related functions. 4. Provides advice and assistance on grievance procedures and options for resolution of conflicts or problems. 5. Skill applying complex fact-finding, analytical and problem-solving methods and techniques.
