The position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including processing various personnel and payroll transactions. The incumbent will be adept at calculating pay rates, managing gross pay adjustments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, Civil Service Rules and Regulations, and collective bargaining unit contract language. Key Responsibilities: • Process routine and complex personnel and payroll transactions using HR systems. • Calculate pay rates and execute gross pay adjustments accurately. • Manage, adjust, and modify timesheets, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, Civil Service Rules and Regulations, and contract language. • Provide technical guidance to employees, managers, supervisors, and the general public on various HR-related topics such as new employee orientation, payroll, timekeeping, personnel procedures, recruitment, selection, classification, labor relations, fringe benefits, retirement, and other HR-related matters. • Serve as the point of contact for NEOGOV PE questions and issues.
