This position provides purchasing function support to the school Health staff. This position also provides administrative support to the Nurse Family Partnership program. This is an advanced level administrative support position in the Healthy Start Program. The position is primarily responsible for data collection, data entry, and report generation in accordance with Healthy Start Program Guidelines and requires advanced data entry skills and the ability to work independently. Contributes to the organization’s culture of performance excellence by actively seeking to improve personal and organizational performance through measurement, analysis, knowledge management, and processes improvements and participation in performance management committees, councils, and/or workgroups. This position reports to the Health Services Manager A-SES Healthy Start Administrative Functions + Enters data of Healthy Start Prenatal and Infant Risk Screening forms into the Health Management System (HMS) and Well Family System (WFS) + Provides training to other staff for the HMS and WFS + Completes monthly reports and invoices as required by the Healthy Start Coalition of Southwest Florida + Completes internal reports as needed. + Follow up weekly in Florida Medicaid Web Portal (FLMMIS) for Medicaid identification information. The State Attorney’s Office 20th Judicial Circuit Child abuse Death Review Data Entry + Enter data into National Fatality Review Case Reporting System + Attend bi-monthly child Abuse Death Review committee meetings. Nurse Family Partnership Administrative Functions + Provides administrative support for the Nurse Family Partnership Program + Completes quarterly reports and invoices as required by the Health Start Coalition of Southwest Florida + Data entry into FLOVIS + Data entry into Maternal Infant and Early childhood home visiting system Purchasing Functions + Order supplies for Healthy Start Nurse Family Partnership, School Health, and Maternal Child Health Programs + Maintains and tracks inventory for programs. + Additional clerical duties related to purchasing. Other + Provides immunization support as requested. + Enter Employee Action Report System (EARS) and client services into HMS and WFS according to agency protocols and timeframes. + Attends and completes required in-services and trainings. + Support staff with State Travel Management System (STMS) training and data entry. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + Healthy Start workers working as a professional, must meet one or more of the following educational requirements and have received all required training: + Minimum of four-year college degree in one of the following areas: + Social sciences + A health-related field such as nursing, health education, health planning, or health care administration + Social work + Two years of college with three years of public health/maternal-child health experience + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. + Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural. + This position is required to follow security guidelines established by the agency.
