Job Title: Huntingburg Civil Engineer
Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil / Environmental Engineering graduate with 0 - 3 years of experience interested in pursuing a professional engineering career in water resources and sustainable water/wastewater infrastructure. You will join a brand-new office in Huntingburg, IN, and will be a key building block for the team. You will be assigned to a project team tasked with helping communities and industries solve their most challenging infrastructure problems, fostering learning and growth.

ResponsibilitiesPerform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.Perform sub-professional engineering tasks such as fieldwork, inspections, engineering reports, permits, construction engineering, and simple design calculations.Coordinate with contractors.Review construction drawings and specifications.Contact government officials for permits.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering within Water/Wastewater, Transportation, Site Development, Stormwater/Drainage.A minimum GPA of 3.2 (verified via transcripts).Experience with Civil 3D software.Additional Skills & QualificationsGraduate degree in a related field (preferred).Passed FE (EI).1+ year of Water/Wastewater design engineering experience (preferred if GPA is below 3.2).Work Environment

The office environment is laid back but can be deadline intensive at times. There is a strong team environment with a family feel. Dress is business casual. Standard hours are 8-5, but there is flexibility to start as early as 7 AM or as late as 9 AM. Occasionally, there may be requirements to work extra hours, and there is an option to work a 9-hour day Monday-Thursday and a 4-hour day on Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.62 - $40.87/hr.
