**Job Title: HVAC Installation Technician** **Job Description** This person will perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs of residential HVAC systems. **Responsibilities** + Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs of residential HVAC systems. + Install and repair HVAC systems within residential and commercial settings. + Drive work van to job sites. + Provide customer service and consultations on the best course of action for repairs. + Document and complete work orders using a tablet, computer, or cell phone. + Order correct parts as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience installing and repairing HVAC systems within residential and commercial settings. + Valid Driver's License. + Experience driving a work van. + Customer service experience. + Ability to document and complete work orders using a tablet, computer, or cell phone. + Possess required tools for the job. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience working within a residential HVAC installation/repair company. + Ability to accurately diagnose issues. + Experience in customer-facing roles. **Why Work Here?** Employees are provided with a Surface tablet and are dispatched from their home, with a gas card included. The company offers 'Door to Door' pay, meaning employees are paid from when they leave their house to when they return. Employees receive 401k, medical, and dental benefits once they become permanent with the company. Additionally, employees are guaranteed 8 hours of pay regardless of the total hours worked, based on the workload for that day. **Work Environment** The position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The schedule and route are determined daily based on requests and work orders from the previous day and night. The work will be within a designated territory. The on-call schedule is every third week from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with no new calls taken after midnight. This schedule is set 6 months in advance, and employees receive extra pay for on-call days regardless of whether they are called. After being called out, employees can start as late as noon the next day.
