Job Description HOURLY RANGE IS 24-40/hr. Job Description: Client of Insight Global is looking for a maintenance technician that is HVAC certified. This person will receive a company car, laptop, and phone for business purposes. They will be receiving service orders 1 day or night before and then will be going site to site to do preventative maintenance or repairs on HVAC systems, air conditioning, heat, beverage machines, ice makers. This person will be responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it related to troubleshooting, diagnostics, and a proactive maintenance of systems and mechanical equipment in a cost-effective manner. Candidates will work a minimum of 45 hours a week with an on-call shift and a weekend rotation. Skills and Requirements MUST HAVES : The main component will be HVAC but could also touch electrical, carpentry, etc.  Maintenance Technician with 2-3 years of HVAC experience  HVAC certified Has to be EPA 608 **these do not expire; they will need a copy of this certification to show**  Refrigeration experience  Commercial experience is required  HS Diploma/GED  Must have a valid drivers license from the state in which the candidate resides  Safe place to park company vehicle  No physical restrictions **Key words they want to see on resumes are HVAC, refrigeration, walk-in coolers, ice machines** PLUSSES:  Need to be somewhat tech savvy for documenting hours, looking at WOs, etc. SCREENING QUESTIONS:  How did you get into the maintenance field?  How do you troubleshoot something if you cant find the issue?  Tech savvy (need to know basics of technology, working phone, downloading apps, tracking hours, viewing work orders)  Safety questions!!  Do they have a safe place to park the company vehicle?  Any driving suspensions or strikes? null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
