Maintains, repairs, and installs heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC) systems and associated components. Maintains, repairs, services and installs packaged AC units, mini-split systems, ice machines, walk-in/reach-in freezers and coolers and similar commercial kitchen equipment.

Maintains, repairs and installs, high and low-pressure piping and associated devices on heating systems. Draws samples of boiler & chiller water loops and sends off for required chemical analysis. Once testing is complete, treats system with appropriate chemicals to ensure optimum operation and maximum longevity of system under test. Uses knowledge of electronics and schematics to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of control systems. Performs necessary and essential electrical work required to maintain and operate heating and air conditioning systems. Maintains, repairs, and installs heat pumps of various tonnage, forced air, and other related equipment. Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs air compressors & mister system pumps. Becomes knowledgeable in and utilizes Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Performs other related duties associated to the job classification.

Payrate: $24.78 Hourly
