**Job Title: HVAC Mechanic** **Job Description** The HVAC Mechanic plans and implements maintenance, repair, and installation of all HVAC systems for the facility. This role requires effective communication to resolve problems, collaborate on work procedures, and maintain satisfaction and service with internal contacts. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the Hospital. + Maintain and repair all heating and cooling systems. + Perform periodic preventative maintenance on various air handling units, including filter changes and testing HVAC/REF systems. + Licensed for recovery, reclamation, and purchase of refrigerant gases. + Repair and install compressors and condensers. + Maintain a complete inventory of tools used on the job to accomplish repairs. + Oversee all outside contract work on refrigeration and some HVAC equipment, ensuring work is completed professionally. + Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, boiler, VAV, and electrical systems. + Experience with plumbing, plumbing fixtures, and piping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Journeyman or Master HVAC Mechanic certification. + Valid Driver's License. + 5 years of trades experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, 7 years preferred. + Covid vaccine compliance required. **Ready to Interview?** Qualified candidates are invited to use the link below to schedule an interview for this position: https://talentassistant.aerotek.com/assistant/bookings/6GiJGg-P **Please ensure that your application is completed, even if you are using the above link to schedule an interview.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
