Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC projects on industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HVAC systems, project management, and industrial site operations. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.Lead and manage a team of HVAC technicians, engineers, and subcontractors, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.Ensure all HVAC installations and maintenance activities meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or issues.Monitor project budgets and expenses, implementing cost-saving measures and ensuring financial targets are met.Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.Identify and resolve project-related issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure project continuity.Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC project management, preferably in an industrial setting.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in project management software and HVAC systems.In-depth understanding of HVAC systems, industrial site operations, and relevant regulations and standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in project management on industrial projects.Knowledge of construction and sheet metal work.HVAC/Mechanical project management experience on large industrial projects.Work Environment
The work environment includes managing projects on industrial sites, which requires adherence to strict safety protocols and standards. The role involves regular client communication and collaboration with a team of technicians, engineers, and subcontractors. The position demands the use of project management software and a strong understanding of HVAC systems and regulations.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
