**Job Title: HVAC/R Support Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated HVAC/R Support Technicians to provide exceptional support for Refrigeration and HVAC products. This role demands technical expertise in HVAC and Refrigeration Systems, coupled with excellent customer service skills. **Responsibilities** + Support field service technicians and monitor field products to ensure optimal performance through proactive and preventative maintenance. + Identify and troubleshoot present issues with refrigeration and HVAC products. + Travel to customer sites across the United States (40-60% of the time), with travel, lodging, and per diem covered. + Maintain detailed records of support interactions. **Essential Skills** + EPA Certification and/or HVAC/R certification. + Comprehensive understanding of refrigeration cycles (evaporation, compression, condensation, and expansion). + Familiarity with system components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, and refrigerants). + Understanding of HVAC principles (air conditioning, heating systems, ventilation). + Knowledge of refrigerants (R-410A, R-134A, R-404A) and refrigerant safety protocols. + Ability to read and interpret system schematics and electrical wiring diagrams. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Understanding of electrical systems used in HVAC and Refrigeration equipment. + Troubleshooting of control panels and electronic controllers (PLCs, thermostats, and control circuits). + Ability to diagnose issues with electrical wiring, fuses, circuit breakers, and relay switches. + Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges, and thermometers). **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive Health, Dental, and Vision benefits, along with a per diem for travel-related expenses.
