HVAC Senior Controls Technician
What you will do:

- Perform programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and preventative maintenance of HVAC control systems, including mechanical, electrical, and low voltage components.

- Respond to service and warranty calls using client-specific configuration and commissioning tools, as well as various hand tools, including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.

- Provide frontline technical and repair support through effective communication with clients customers.

- Offer system repair or update recommendations and assist in proposing these recommendations to customers.

How to do it:

- Load client field and network-level controller software.

- Perform commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers and end devices (e.g., sensors, actuators), and complete all required commissioning documentation.

- Keep management and contractors/customers informed of job progress and issues.

- Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment.

- Complete administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.

- Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation.

- Participate in company-sponsored and self-initiated training to maintain the highest level of knowledge and capability.

- Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs.

- Communicate with contractors or customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.

- Follow all safety standards and attend required safety training, with a high regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
