**Job Title: HVAC Service Tech** **Job Description** Candidates will be performing HVAC service work primarily for residential customers in and around Oakland County. Occasionally, there will be light commercial service work up to 25 tons. Service techs will be provided with their own service van and iPad. Typically, they will handle 4-5 service calls per day, which may include diagnosing and fixing AC units, furnaces, ducts, or thermostats. Technicians will also discuss issues with customers, present solutions, educate them on repairs, and handle payments upon service completion. Work will be conducted both inside and outside customer homes while adhering to all safety procedures. **Responsibilities** + Perform HVAC service work for residential and light commercial customers. + Diagnose and repair faults with AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats. + Discuss issues with customers, present solutions, and educate them on the repairs. + Handle payments upon service completion. + Drive the company-provided service van to various service locations. + Adhere to all safety procedures while working inside and outside customer homes. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of residential HVAC service work experience. + Ability to troubleshoot and repair AC units and furnaces. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items with assistance. + Ability to carry ladders, work from heights, and operate in small crawl spaces. + Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. + EPA Certification. + Strong customer service skills, including effective communication of issues and solutions. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with HVAC equipment, repair, and installation. + Knowledge of commercial HVAC, new construction, heating, and cooling. + Familiarity with RTUs (roof top units) and mini splits. **Why Work Here?** The company provides service vans that technicians can take home, with new vehicles added to the fleet every 2-3 years.
