HVAC Service Technician

The Field Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and is an hourly, full-time position. S\/he is a member of the RLKS Field Service team, whose responsibility is to ensure all customer requests are identified and addressed in a prompt, accurate, and professional manner with safety with the end customer always top of mind. This is a vital position for Stark Tech, enabling us in the HVACR equipment sales, service, and parts resale businesses that we operate.\n

What are we looking for?\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in HVAC, or the equivalent combination of education (technical school) and experience.\nMust follow union qualification process for Journeyman standing.\nKnowledge in all facets of the HVAC industry, including but not limited to Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, Boilers, Humidification, Dehumidification, and Refrigeration.\nMust have universal EPA CFC certification.\nMust have 10-hour OSHA certification.\nMust be a highly motivated and an independent thinker.\nMust be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high profile (often mission critical) customer setting. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.\nKnowledge of HVAC&R theory, solid mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, and repair skills required.\nAbility to read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts and blueprints required.\nMust have experience installing clean, dry refrigeration piping systems and associated practices.\nOperating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc.\nValid driver's license with a clean record required.\n\n
