HVAC Service Technician
**Job Title: HVAC Service Technician** **Job Description** The HVAC Service Technician will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of Industrial/Commercial HVAC/R equipment for the Kalamazoo and West to Southwestern Lansing area. These facilities include manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, churches, and schools. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. + Conduct repairs and troubleshooting of Industrial/Commercial HVAC systems. + Work on 2-90 Ton Rooftop Units (RTUs) and 1-250 ton chillers. + Drive to various service locations within an hour from Kalamazoo. + Work independently for the majority of the time. + Be on-call once every 8th week, covering areas such as Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Lansing, and Western Detroit. + Climb ladders (12ft step ladder or 28ft extension ladder) and lift up to 75 pounds. + Complete work orders during on-call periods. **Essential Skills** + 4-6 years of experience with Industrial and Commercial HVAC Service. + EPA Recovery or Refrigeration License. + Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record. + Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders. + Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Basic plumbing experience such as changing gas lines or pro press plumbing. + Electrical experience including changing a disconnect. + Experience with Controls or VRF Systems. + Mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. + Lift certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** As an employee-owned company, you can start earning shares and receive yearly stock bonuses depending on the company's performance.
