**Now Hiring!!!** **HVAC Service Technician (State College)** **Pay Rate: $28-$38/HR + Benefits** **Job Description** Provide maintenance and repairs on residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards, providing the customer with a high-quality experience. As a Service Technician IV, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently to properly diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC systems. Leadership Responsibilities: • Assist with the training of newer Service Technicians. Duties/Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide range of residential and light commercial equipment, and present repair and replacement options to customers. • Complete service repairs as approved by the customer. • Understand and utilize flat rate and quote majority of repairs without assistance. • Complete and submit all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner. • Reach weekly KPI goal of $4,400 and up. • Order parts when applicable. • Participate in the on-call rotation. • Drive company vehicle. • Comply with company and industry safety standards, and all company policies. • Perform other related duties as assigned. **Hard Skills** + Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and accessories + Advanced knowledge of tools of the trade + Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems + Good technology skills (iPad, dispatch software, etc.) **Soft Skills** + Ability to both follow and give instructions + Excellent communication skills (required to interact with customers) **Job Type** This is a permanent position. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in State College, Pennsylvania. **Work Environment** HVAC Service Technician for residential and commercial environments. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
