Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Store Operations Manager who will provide direction and guidance in the development, implementation and sustainment of all Daikin Applied Americas (DAA) stores. You will support the opening of new stores and the proper functioning with process maturity improvement initiatives across the entire store value stream, including sales to delivery and other back-office functions such as human resources, information technology, supply chain management, order management and sales operations. You will provide strategic direction and execution leadership internally and externally required to transform and support new store launches and grow existing stores. Location: Plymouth, MN, Hybrid 2-3 days a week

 

What you will do: 

Take the operational lead for managing all DAA stores Implement process improvements through all activities of the DAA stores Help to create the vision and strategy that drives continuous improvement in terms of operation performance, best marketing practices and sales growth Create an organizational training strategy that supports the continuous improvement culture including basic knowledge, process improvement, root cause analysis and maintenance Perform planning duties for new sites (Oracle) for inventory of parts and units Establish and implement a process for standard communication of continuous improvement initiatives across the organization and perform periodic audits to ensure the process is consistent Utilizing lean methods and visual diagrams, such as value stream mapping (VSM), SIPOC, RACI and other tools to improve process and lead times for all segments of the sales to order and order to delivery processes and determine predictable lead times to increase customer satisfaction

Minimum Qualifications: 

4 years Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field 8 years of experience in HVAC business, manufacturing, commercial operations or retail HVAC stores Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Required Qualifications: 

Track record of successful project management and team leadership experience Ability to travel up to 50% to Daikin’s key sites throughout the United States and Mexico

The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
