Job Description
Manage HVAC maintenance and service teams to ensure quality onsite. Schedules, directs, and provides technical support for HVAC technicians. Understand the sales criteria and hold your team accountable for exceeding revenue goals. Reviews technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards. Organize training and ongoing support for install teams. Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains HVAC technicians as required to meet workload demands. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements. Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice. Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations.
ResponsibilitiesManage HVAC maintenance and service teams to ensure quality onsite.Schedule, direct, and provide technical support for HVAC technicians.Understand sales criteria and hold the team accountable for exceeding revenue goals.Review technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards.Organize training and ongoing support for install teams.Recruit, interview, hire, and train HVAC technicians as required to meet workload demands.Ensure compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.Handle other managerial duties including profit and loss management and client issue resolution.Essential Skills5+ years of HVAC Maintenance experience.2 years of HVAC management experience.Proficient in troubleshooting, scheduling, and coordinating.Experience in residential and commercial HVAC.Electrical knowledge.EPA Universal certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.Working knowledge of boiler systems.Ability to work in confined spaces.Current HVAC technician license.Valid driver’s license.C7 Certification is a bonus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Will be working in the Antioch location and will be traveling throughout the Bay Area. This is a small to mid-size company that operates within a close-knit, family-style environment. Will be managing up to four teams of two HVAC installers. Shift is from 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends when needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00
Company offers benefits and bonus potential dependent on how the company and managers do with profit loss.
