Trane in Philadelphia is hiring for the Systems Sales Manager role to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for your sales team to develop long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention. The goal is to grow our business to meet our overall market share and financial goals.
Where is the work:
This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving Trane annual objectives for your team regarding profit, sales volume, growth, business mix and market share. Develop monthly pipelines/forecasting HR responsibilities of your assigned sales engineers (quota and goal setting, account assignment evaluations, interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, etc.) Help solve A/R issues of targeted past due accounts. Develop bid strategy on strategic projects. Salesforce data management Individual goal setting and follow-up in TMS. (Talent Management System) Assignment of misc leads to sales engineers in SF with timely follow-up. Salesperson ride-a-longs to meet with strategic customers. 1 v 1’s with salesperson to review progress versus sales goals (with the System General Manager) Develop training schedule of new GTP candidates. Propose account changes/teaming ideas Run weekly bid meetings. Review of T&C’s Monthly meetings with the Regional Systems Sales Leader and the Area General Manager to review the state of the business and discuss course corrections if/when necessary. Lead performance excellence by coaching Account Managers on effectiveness and efficiency relating to project attainments, customer service, customer relationship development, and business profitability. Minimum working three days per week in the King of Prussia office. Represent the Philadelphia office (when required) at customer specific and Trane leadership events.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. BS in Engineering is strongly preferred. Minimum seven (7) years of industry-related sales experience and five (5) years of experience in a sales leadership in the HVAC industry is strongly preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years; Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $150,000 - 225,000
Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
This role has been designated by the Company as safety sensitive.
