Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Bare Base equipment specialist for an CONUS assignment.
Duties include:Servicing of customers’ Bare Base equipment sets on the job site
Ordering materials, tools and instruments
Preparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenance
Completing required paper work timely and accurately
Troubleshooting equipment failures both in service center and on customer locations
Installing, maintaining and repairing electronic pneumatic devices related to HVAC control
Practicing and promoting safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, and other required regulations
Maintaining shelter and associated equipment that is supporting a unique bare base operation
Servicing HVAC and exhaust systems, fan blowers, including filters, lubrications, thermostats, and controls for the entire building
Servicing all building components including all physical, structure and mechanical equipment
Performing work in confined spaces and climb ladders to perform duties related to work assignments
Operating a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient manner
Reading diagrams, sketches, operations manuals and manufacture’s specifications and comprehend information to accomplish assigned tasks
Must be willing to work with all types
of equipment including Generators, PDP's, Expeditionary type structures.
Must maintain Deployment physical status. Must possess good communication
skills and willing to learn systems outside of the HVAC qualifications. Must
be willing to train personnel in group setting.

Basic Qualifications:
Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license
Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary certifications in refrigeration and HVAC
Work well with public as well as with co-workers and willing to listen to others
Be knowledgeable in the use of electrical codes, wiring diagrams, blueprints, boilers, air conditioning systems and hot water heaters along with knowledge of all chemicals used in maintaining of equipment
Must be punctual and follow rules
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with no or minimum guidance
Better than average written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
Troubleshooting and analytical skills
Familiar with HVAC tools and equipment
Verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
