**Job Title: HVAC Technician 1 ($26-28/hour)** **Job Description** Assists air quality technicians in installation and maintenance of all types of air conditioning and heating units. Performs HVAC tasks such as cleaning coils, changing filters, lubricating motors, changing belts and fans, sealing window units, cleaning air ducts, and installing window units. Maintains chemical levels and control systems for chilled and condenser water treatment systems. Reclaims decommissioned CFC (chlorinated fluorocarbon containing) equipment. **Hard Skills** + Will take a written skills test + After passing the test will interview with the Director of Energy Management **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Kent, Ohio. **Work Environment** 1st shift position, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Will report to the FM building each morning. Responsibilities cover various parts of a 1,157 acre campus in Kent, Ohio.
