How you will enjoy your day:  

Perform repairs on HVAC/R equipment and the kitchen and laundry equipment. Assist with the plumbing and electrical projects.  

Work Performed:

Maintain preventative maintenance records on all HVAC/R equipment, laundry and kitchen equipmentRepair and replacement of all HVAC/R equipmentChange all filters on equipmentRepair and maintain all kitchen and laundry equipmentFill out parts requests and keep stock of replacement partsHelp control budget expenses Keep area in shop clean and organizedWork with engineers on completion of projectsComplete work orders as assignedDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of the other employees and guestsPerform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds and lead other engineers in maintenance dutiesProficient use of computer systemsPerform high level skills with laundry and kitchen equipmentAssist with general maintenance and upkeep of the resorts systems and facilitiesCheck and monitor work performed by engineering staffHelp control budget and costsDirect involvement with resolution of guest issues and complaints and follow up with the guest and follow-up after the guest checks outOther duties as assigned

Responsibility & Authority:

Maintain a high level of guest service at all times in all guest services areas Works closely with all departments to ensure guest service levels are being metEnsure the safety and comfort of the guests and employees

Minimum Requirements:

High school education or equivalent work experience. Formal training in HVAC and certification. At least 3 years experience in hotel/motel, high rise building or commercial HVAC/R. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong guest and team member relations skills. Safety sensitive position.
