Scope of Responsibility:

To provide Preventative Maintenance, service, repairs, for variety of HVAC equipment such as Bard, AirSys, Marvair, Dantherm, Pentair and more, according to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Create PM & Repair tickets to document PM’s & repairs using mobile app on company provided cell phone. Respond to Emergency Service Calls and service call request. Maintain part inventory on van an order restock as needed. You can make your own schedule using the assigned set locations for HVAC Preventative Maintenance. We pay you from when you leave your house to go to work until you return home from your work day. We provide year round employment with NO Seasonal Lay-Off.

 

Essential Duties:

Perform routine preventative maintenance and log PM  Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair any problems with HVAC equipment (Wall Pack Units, Split Systems, Mini Splits & Rooftop units)  Run service calls- repair and/or replace parts on equipment Document every call/job in an organized and detailed manner. Respond to Emergency Service Call requests Orders replacement parts, filters, associated hardware, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining inventory on van and ensuring availability of required items Complete Preventative Maintenance and Service tickets from cell phone app. Documenting work performed, PM checklists, and parts. Regular and on-time attendance Work in your shift as scheduled Getting along with coworkers

 

Position Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of residential or commercial service experience Able to work flexible hours Valid driver's license and insurable driving record While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able lift and/or move up to 90 pounds EPA Universal Refrigerant Handling License or at least Type II Certificate of completion from a HVAC Technical School  Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions of the HVAC trade Ability to work from blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing Skilled in the use of the tools and equipment of the HVAC trade

 

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able lift and/or move up to 90 pounds Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions Ability to use torch to join tubing or pipes to various refrigeration units by means of sleeves, couplings or unions, and solders joints using torch, forming complete circuit for refrigerant. Ability to install Compressors, Expansion Valves and Coils. Ability to properly weigh-in refrigerant to system specs or use gauges to add in for proper super heat. Ability to create and send Email correspondence, use spreadsheets, and word documents.
