**Job Title: HVAC Technician - $20-30/hr (WEEKLY PAY)** **Job Description:** The HVAC Technician performs diagnostic and service work on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment with minimal supervision. This role involves direct communication with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and ensure complete satisfaction. Technicians are expected to promote products and services and report to the Field Supervisor or General Manager. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform service and maintenance calls on residential and light commercial HVAC equipment with minimal supervision. + Analyze, diagnose, and resolve HVAC issues professionally and promptly. + Service heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, including accessories. + Conduct equipment inspections and diagnostics to prevent breakdowns. + Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning. + Manage the delivery and removal of parts and equipment needed for service work. + Use handheld devices to record service details and complete necessary paperwork accurately. Collect payments from customers. + Communicate with dispatch to provide status updates and availability. + Deliver excellent customer service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. + Promote company products and services, and generate sales leads. + Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and accountability of company property, vehicles, and tools. + Represent the company professionally and ethically. **Hard Skills:** + HVAC service and installation **Work Environment:** + Primarily working in commercial spaces, with some work in new residential builds. + Job involves working in various environments, sometimes outdoors and in mechanical spaces. **Requirements:** + Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. + Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. + Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision. + Excellent communication and customer service skills. + Basic proficiency with handheld devices and technology for service reporting. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
