Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups. Responsibilities Performs specialized skills in maintaining the indoor air quality of the hospital and owned facilities to meet the laws, codes, regulations, and standards required for the health care environment. Installs and maintains HVAC/Refrigeration equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and ancillary systems related to hospital utilities/operations. Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment Qualifications Job Requirements: High school diploma, trade or vocational school 3-5 years experience in the HVAC field General knowledge of building management systems and HVAC equipment controls General knowledge of safety & security procedures. Refrigerant Recovery License - Universal required (can obtain within one (1) year of hire date) Preferred Job Requirements: Knowledge of all trades related to building maintenance Certified or licensed in the HVAC/Mechanical field
