**Job Title: HVAC Technician**
**Job Description**
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the start to finish installation of HVAC equipment on new commercial construction jobs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install HVAC equipment on new commercial construction projects from start to finish.
+ Perform sheet metal work and duct work installation.
+ Carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC systems.
+ Repair and service boilers, compressors, cooling towers, and refrigeration units.
+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
**Essential Skills**
+ HVAC installation experience
+ Proficiency in sheet metal and duct work
+ Knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
+ Experience with boiler, refrigeration, and compressor repair
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints
+ EPA Universal Certification
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ OSHA 10 certification
+ Associate's or Technical degree/certification in a relevant field

**Work Environment**
Work at new construction sites throughout the Kansas City Metro area. Day shift hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, with occasional overtime when required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paola, Kansas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00
