Job Scope:
Fabrication, Installation and Maintenance of Sheet Metal Systems used in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) SystemsEnsure Quality and Precision in the Construction and Installation of Ductwork, Vents, and other Metal ComponentsCut, Shape, and Fabricate Sheet Metal Components, Ductwork, Vents, etc.Install, Assemble, and Secure HVAC Systems and Ductwork at Job sitesEnsure all Systems are Properly Connected and FunctioningAssist in the Layout and Design of HVAC Systems including Measurement and Fitting of Ductwork, Diffusers, and VentsPerform Maintenance and Repair of Existing HVAC Systems and Sheet Metal Components to Improve Efficiency or Extend Service LiveUse Welding, Soldering and Cutting Equipment to Fabricate Parts and Make Adjustments as neededInspect Work to Ensure Compliance with Quality Standards, Building Codes and Safety RegulationsDiagnose and Resolve Issues with HVAC Duct SystemsWorking in Both Commercial and Residential SettingsRequirements:
Able to Read Blueprints and Project SpecificationsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent. Vocational Training in HVAC or Sheet Metal Work is PreferredPrevious Experience as an HVAC/Sheet Metal Worker or in a Similar TradeEPA 608 Certification for Handling Refrigerants is PreferredSheet Metal Fabrication or Welding is a PlusExcellent Problem Solving Skills and Attention to DetailAble to Lift and Carry Heavy Materials, Work in Confined Spaces, and Work at HeightsCompany Details
