We have an Excellent Contract position for a 2nd Shift HVAC Technician to join a leading Company in Culpeper, VA.
**US Citizenship is required.**
The HVAC Technician will work under general supervision to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics, and locally generated instructions. Must be familiar with OSHA and NEC standards. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities, and production equipment, as well as perform general maintenance. 
Basic Hiring Criteria:    Requires an Associate degree in appropriate discipline plus one (1) years of directly related industrial HVAC experience, but candidates who have not completed a related associate degree should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) plus at least five (5) years directly related industrial HVAC experience.  Strong electrical experience/training in repairs in an industrial setting required
Desired Qualifications:    Journeyman HVAC license is strongly desiredTraining from a trade school is a plusEPA Section 608 HVAC Certification (Type 1, Type 2, or Universal) strongly desiredNorth American Technical Excellence (NATE) certification or ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers) certification desirableStrong Mechanical experience/training in one of the following: HVAC installation, HVAC troubleshooting and repair, general mechanic background
