**Job Title: HVAC Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. This position involves working with HVAC/R systems in commercial settings, providing installation, maintenance, and repair services. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of HVAC tools, materials, and best practices. This position requires daily travel in a company vehicle to client sites to perform service repairs. Service area is North side of chicago up to Wisconsin border and northwest suburbs. **Responsibilities** + Repair, install, inspect, diagnose, and maintain all parts of HVAC systems. + Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. + Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and regulations applicable to HVAC. + Utilize HVAC tools and materials for operation, maintenance, and repair. + Independently troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues. + Communicate effectively with clients and team members. + Work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. + Participate in on-call rotation and be available for travel across state lines. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Thorough understanding of HVAC tools, materials, operation, maintenance, and repair. + Ability to repair, install, inspect, diagnose, and maintain all parts of HVAC systems. + Understanding of safe mechanical practices and relevant codes and regulations. + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. + Good communication skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + NATE Certified, completed HVAC training, or 5-year service experience required. + Must have Universal EPA Certification. + Valid driver's license with no driving restrictions and an insurable driving record. + Ability to pass pre-employment, including MVR screening. **Why Work Here?** We offer full benefits and a company vehicle.
