ResponsibilitiesExecute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on commercial HVAC/R systems.Perform essential mechanical services including belt adjustments, filter maintenance, and lubrication protocols.Conduct systematic electrical continuity testing and basic troubleshooting procedures.Implement airflow optimization techniques across various system types.Maintain and calibrate commercial thermostats and control systems.Perform professional-grade coil cleaning and maintenance.Complete detailed equipment condition assessments and documentation.Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on diverse HVAC equipment.Troubleshoot and service commercial equipment up to 100 tons, including air-cooled chillers.Train and mentor Level 1-5 technicians.Participate in on-call rotation after training completion.Maintain detailed service records and complete required documentation.Provide technical support to customers and team members.Assist with equipment installation as needed.Essential SkillsProven experience in commercial/industrial HVAC/R systems.Demonstrated ability to achieve 85%+ efficiency ratings in service delivery.Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and compliance requirements.Proficiency in preventative maintenance protocols and documentation.Ability to identify and resolve basic system issues independently.Experience with commercial control systems and thermostat programming.Knowledge of industrial airflow principles and optimization techniques.Advanced troubleshooting of RTU systems, split systems, and package units.Expert-level knowledge of refrigeration cycles and PT charts.Proficient in both low voltage (24V) and high voltage (208-480V) systems.Advanced understanding of VRF systems, including City Multi.Skilled in hydronic systems and pump maintenance.Capable of programming and troubleshooting building automation systems.Expert in chiller systems (air-cooled and water-cooled).Proficient with VFD installation and maintenance.Advanced knowledge of pneumatic systems.Competent in centrifugal chiller maintenance and repair.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in HVAC service, repair, and preventive maintenance.Proficiency in reading blueprints and troubleshooting.Knowledge of airflow systems, installation, and duct work.Experience in electrical, air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Capable of working in various environmental conditions.Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.Extended periods of standing, walking, and climbing.Must have 2+ years of experience with some experience in commercial or industrial settings.EPA Universal certification.OSHA 10 certification.Clean driving record.Strong understanding of electrical diagrams.Proven track record of zero customer callbacks.Excellence in customer communication and service.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift and move items up to 80+ pounds using proper techniques.Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and man-lifts.Physical stamina for extended periods of standing, stooping, and kneeling.Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to:Weather elementsMechanical equipmentChemical substancesModerate to loud noise levelsTools and TechnologyProficient with digital and analog testing equipment.Skilled in using Field Point software for work orders and documentation.Experience with company purchasing systems and procedures.Competent with hand and power tools.Safety and ComplianceStrict adherence to safety protocols including PPE, LOTO, and MSDS procedures.Commitment to maintaining clean, organized company vehicles.Understanding of proper chemical handling and disposal.Role as Safety Ambassador within the organization.Schedule and AvailabilityRegular full-time position with flexible scheduling as needed.On-call rotation duties required.Prompt attendance at team meetings and training seminars.Ability to respond to emergency service calls.Leadership ResponsibilitiesMentor and train junior technicians.Fill in for Service and Project Manager roles when needed.Contribute to team development and technical knowledge sharing.Maintain high standards of professionalism and work quality.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $58240.00/yr.
Paid Time Off (No waiting period): New hires are front-loaded 6.5 days (52 hours) for their first year. We do not use the accrual format. We do not provide sick time, this is included with PTO. Rollover up to 40 hours. This policy is based on the anniversary year of each individual employee. See the PTO Anniversary Schedule below:
401K: 90 day waiting period. The company contributes 3% no matter if the employee contributes or not. Vesting Periods:
5 Year Graded: 1 year-20%; 2 years-40%; 3 years-60%; 4 years-80%; 5 years-100%
Health Benefits: Provider for Medical is Aetna. Provider for Ancillaries (Dental, Vision, Life, Accidental, STD, LTD) is Guardian. Cost varies depending on elections. Open enrollment is in June 2025.
