**Job Title: HVAC Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a minimum of 3 years in HVAC maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have a license and be skilled in preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, and air handlers. Basic computer skills for handling work orders are necessary. **Responsibilities** + Perform preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, and air handlers. + Troubleshoot and identify HVAC issues and report findings. + Handle work orders, including sending and receiving them using basic computer skills. + Maintain a schedule and implement routines for preventative maintenance and work orders. + Communicate with vendors, school faculty, and students, interacting with various people on campus daily. **Essential Skills Needed** + 3+ years of HVAC maintenance and repair experience. + Valid HVAC license (Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License). + Experience in preventative maintenance on boilers, chillers, and air handlers. + Troubleshooting and reporting HVAC issues. + Basic computer skills for handling work orders. + critical space experience is nice to have (4-5 labs on site). + Experience in other trades such as Electrical, Plumbing, or Carpentry. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** Our client offers a stable and long-term position with a 10+ year contract at the University of Hartford. The college has about 400 students during the academic year and hosts summer camps. The campus is small, with about 5 buildings, all walkable within 5 minutes. It is a quiet location that is easily accessible from the highway. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
