HVACR Technician

Job Summary:In this role, with limited supervision, you will perform routine repairs and maintenance on facilities and facility-related equipment. Work will include, but not be limited to: HVAC, Refrigeration, BMS, Medical Gases, DDC, Pneumatics, Compressors and PLC circuitry.
Job Description:
+ Perform routine, periodic, and special inspections to assess equipment health and safety
+ Interpret blueprints and equipment manuals
+ Perform and document routine maintenance actions
+ Perform and document assigned work order requests
+ Work with outside vendors on specific needs or obligations
+ Maintain records for the equipment we have
+ Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration equipment
+ Respond to faults, alarms or other emergencies throughout the hospital system as directed
+ Understand the BMS (building management system) by Siemens to make the necessary adjustments for corrections, maintenance, troubleshooting or shutdowns as needed
+ Motor replacements, bearing replacements, equipment replacement.
+ Work, run and troubleshoot the chiller plant
+ Work, run and troubleshoot air handlers
+ Work, run and troubleshoot humidification units for air handlers
+ Perform other duties as needed
+ Schedule includes working every sixth weekend
Education and experience:
+ 5+ years in the mechanical field (commercial/industrial preferred)
+ State of Maine Driver's License with clean driving record (required)
+ Familiar with a work order system (TMS preferred)
+ EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
+ Familiar with the BMS (Siemens preferred)
+ ASSE 6040 certified is a plus
