HW System integration engineer for development in Healthcare

Siemens Healthineers in Slovakia develops and produces top-quality ultrasound devices. These innovative systems ensure precision and improve healthcare for patients worldwide.

We are looking for a professional Hardware System integration engineer for the development of Ultrasound systems. You will be part of the Hardware engineering team.  

Responsibilities:

Project representative of HW engineering: HW representative in change control board.

 

Manage HW deliverables according to the project schedule and milestones: Owner of HW sub-system requirements level and manage other HW documents if needed, Manage the level of quality HW materials for development.

 

Lead system-level prototype build with project team for the assigned project, Understanding the functionalities of ultrasound device on different levels: from user point of view, understanding or HW components (including electrical and mechanical parts), basic understanding serviceability of devices

 

Expectations:

5 years experiences in the System integration or HW development Experiences with development of solutions for the HW integration to ensure the interaction of the individual elements as a functioning unit. troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical parts during development and in production phase, if necessary, design requirements and constraints to outside design vendors, Review the design by outside design vendors and give feedback to the internal team and other vendors. Professional experiences with processes in HW design (preferred) or SW development English – B2 level, Good communication skills and presentation skills, Managerial skills in HW development, Business travel to USA and South Korea (occasionally).

 

 

Nice to have:

Professional experience with development in medical industry, Orientation in ISO 13485 standard (development of medical devices), Orientation in IEC standards 60601-1, 60601-1-2, Collaborate with Industrial Designer to make the parts manufacturable.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: 2200€ Brutto/monthly + VAR*
