Adecco is assisting a well-established company in their search for a **Hybrid Accounting Analyst Manager** job opportunity in Brooklyn, NY 11217 zip code! **Pay: $** **56.73/HR** **Length: 1 Year (possible temp – hire)** **Shift: Mon – Fri (1st shift) 2 days a week in office 3 days remote** **Responsibilities:** + Working with other managers, directors and VP’s. + **Will be managing six analyst and 11 clerks for the 1st (initial) job, dynamics will change as they transition to cover other vacancies.** + Overall review of accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for company + Oversee accounting functions necessary to achieve an accurate and timely general ledger month-end close + Review of journal entries, analysis and adjustment of income statement and balance sheet accounts + Supervision and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and disposition of reconciling items. + Review and analyze financial results and initial understanding of monthly and quarterly earnings variances against budgets, forecast and prior periods + Provide written variance analysis to the Financial Planning and Analysis Department + Assist as needed with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and schedules in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations + Provide leadership and supervision to accounting staff + Manage process for researching and resolving technical accounting issues, including actual research and resolution when appropriate + Monitor the internal control environment and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Sec. 404 legislation as it relates to the work processes for Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting department + Propose process changes to strengthen the control environment Additional duties as assigned. **Requirements:** + 2-5 years proven track records managing others, must know how to manager people, not expecting a SME but must have accounting background. + Bachelors in Accounting with six to nine years of experience in general financial accounting and reporting. + Must be proficient in MS Suite – VLOOKUPS, pivot tables etc. + Have experience using a big ERP software. + SAP and power plan a bonus. + Strong knowledge of US GAAP required. + Ability to resolve complex accounting issues with multiple company structure and consolidation. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management. + Ability to respond to changing demands from multiple sources. + Advanced Excel modeling skills required, and basic database use skills preferred. + Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
