This individual will play a key role in providing planning, design, and permitting for civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities + Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents, including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans for projects using engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. + Use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data, and their impact on the planning and design of projects. + Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments. + Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus. Essential Skills + BS in Civil Engineering + EIT Certification + 4+ years of experience in site design, site planning, grading, stormwater, drainage, and soil erosion + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with land development and civil design + Knowledge of current local, state, and federal land use permitting Work Environment The position offers a hybrid work environment, starting off with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. After a few months, this will transition to 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. The Philadelphia office has 90 employees.
