HYBRID - Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their unique insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

Innovatively address client challenges by leveraging a wide range of products and services, from traditional insurance policies to emerging fintech solutions to enhance client portfolios.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, tailored to address specific client needs and demonstrate our value propositions.

Policy Analysis and Underwriting:

Analyze client policies and risk exposure to recommend appropriate coverage and limits.

Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions that meet client needs.

Ensure all policies comply with industry regulations and standards.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of policy renewals, endorsements, and claims.  Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other members of the General Industries Practice Group to share insights and best practices.

Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.

Manage associates and keep track of service deadlines to ensure timely delivery of services and client satisfaction.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business development initiatives.

Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build professional relationships.

Requirements:

Active Property & Casualty License Required

Strong organizational skills - ability to prioritize and be proactive

Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills

Ability to solve practical problems, interpret a variety of instructions and deal with a variety of variables furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Applied Systems / EPIC experience is required

Knows and applies principles of insurance to everyday situations.

Professional correspondence (clear, concise, and without errors) with internal and external to obtain or provide information

Time Management (managing one's own time and respecting the time of others)

Prompt response to all email and voice mail correspondence

Document EPIC using clear, concise wording/notes, such that if another person was to go into an activity, they would easily know what had happened and what needs to happen next, thus providing seamless concierge service to our internal and external clients.

Work Environment

Inside/remote office position

Majority of time spent sitting

High level of contact with others via in-person, email, phone, Teams/Zoom (online, camera facing, business work attire required)

Meetings with clients, carrier visits/events & team members

Education/License/Experience Pre-requisites:

Minimum of a High School Diploma

Valid California Property/Casualty license

Valid driver’s license & auto insurance

8+ years of experience in commercial lines

Insurance designation (CPCU, CRM, or CIC preferred)

Experience in the following industrires: Non-profits, Healthcare, Stores, Real Estate/LRO.

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $95,000 - $115,000
