Description Robert Half is currently seeking an eager and highly motivated individual for a Junior Buyer position with a reputable company in the South Metro area. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a hybrid work model, allowing you to work part of the week in the office and part of it from home. Responsibilities: + Assist in the purchasing of goods and services for the company following prescribed internal procedures. + Evaluate suppliers, conduct negotiations, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure best prices and quality. + Coordinate with various teams for timely and cost-effective sourcing and purchasing. + Maintain inventory and manage stock levels. + Handle issues related to invoice price and delivery discrepancies. + Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks. Requirements Required Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. + At least 1 - 2 years of experience in purchasing or similar role. + Strong negotiation and communication skills. + Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. + Strong understanding of supply chain procedures. + Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with purchasing software. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with vendor management software. + Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. + CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) certificate.
