Job Title: Systems Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Test Engineer responsible for the design, development, and implementation of test equipment systems. This role involves creating and maintaining test plans, developing automated test scripts, and ensuring system compliance with specified requirements.

ResponsibilitiesDesign test equipment systems based on systems and configuration requirements.Write requirements for implementing the validation bench.Create a conceptual design and architect the design, development, and implementation of a test system.Direct the design and development of test equipment systems encompassing both hardware and software components.Develop and implement automated test scripts using Python.Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test environments.Develop and execute system validation plans to ensure compliance with specified systems requirements.Write test scenarios to validate the system for each aircraft application.Perform functional, integration, and regression testing.Develop and maintain tools for test automation and continuous integration.Document test procedures, results, and analysis reports.Essential SkillsProficiency in Python and C/C++.Experience in system validation and automated test development.Experience in test bench development and hardware test equipment development.Knowledge of requirements management systems such as DOORS.5 to 10 years of experience in designing test equipment systems, preferably in an aerospace environment.Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of ARINC 429, ARINC 717, UART, CAN, and Ethernet interfaces.Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing.Proficiency with configuration and change management tools such as GIT and JIRA.Previous experience leading the development of a system validation bench is highly desirable.About Actalent
