**Job Duties:**
Serves as a technical specialist and subject matter expert providing expertise and guidance for the development, enhancement, customization and maintenance, interface and integration and interoperability software applications, legacy systems interface toolsets or integration middleware software applications to support the business needs of Trinity Health. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents major integration solutions and modifications, interfaces or system integration solutions. Troubleshoots and provides problem resolution and decision-making support to highly complex production/program errors and interface issues. Installs vendor released integration application software upgrades and retrofits existing modified in-house vendor software. Designs and supports interfaces between applications and systems via integration middleware or other integration toolsets. Provides interface development and support at the most complex level of integration. Designs, codes, debugs, tests and implements major programming modifications, changes and new development to, interfaces, integration or middleware software, legacy or integration systems. Conducts impact analysis of modifications and changes to existing systems and corresponding interfaces. Conducts moderate to complex analysis, programming and design tasks. Customizes interfaces per business requirements and functional and technical specifications. Creates or updates technical specification documents for interfaces including data flow diagrams or other technical documents. Develops and maintains programs for interfaces, including scripting, configurations, translations or other interface solutions in accordance with predefined standards, functional and technical specifications or utilizing specialized software. Provides programming knowledge of tcl, SQL, java, C++, and /or other complex programming skillsets. Diagnoses and resolves interface outages and failures in interfaces and applications. 100% remote position. May work remotely or telecommute to company HQ in.
**Required Minimum Position Qualifications:**
**Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering** , Computer Science or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in which required experience was gained.
Applicant _must_ have demonstrated experience with:
+ Epic App Orchard programming training
+ Interface programming languages, applications, tools and utilities.
+ Web services technologies, such as SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, HTTPS, mTLS, OAuth2, HL7 v2/v3/C-CDA integration expert and NCPDP/X12
+ Healthcare semantic standards (LOINC, SNOMED, or CVX)
+ FHIR integration, Epic App Market (App Orchard), and consuming REST APIs
+ SSO integration utilizing SMART-on-FHIR, OAuth2, and SAML technologies SME of Public Health/CMS PI(Meaningful USE)/MIPS interfaces, e.g. Immunization Registry, Syndromic ADT, eCR, CMS QRDA, NICS, HIE, and ELR
+ Epic Interconnect programming to develop custom Epic M-code routines and Interconnect web services using EpicStudio and Lookitt.
+ Epic Interconnect based Interfaces
+ Windows server administrator experience and PowerShell script Advanced programming experience in multiple languages : TCL, Java, .NET, C++, Perl, and HTML
+ Epic Bridges, Epic Interconnect, Epic Data Courier, Epic Chronicles, E-Prescribing, Cloverleaf Analyst, and Cloverleaf Developer
+ FHIR certifications: HL7 FHIR R4
