Hybrid / Remote Transmission Line Engineer
Job Title: Transmission Line EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to work under the project lead engineer to support clients and construction contractors on a high voltage transmission line build. The role involves collecting, organizing, and responding to RFIs from contractors and clients, coordinating with the lead engineer on more complex RFIs and design changes, and preparing and reviewing design documents for construction. The ideal candidate will understand client interests and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work. Responsibilities + Support clients and construction contractors on a high voltage transmission line build. + Collect, organize, and respond to RFIs from contractors and clients. + Coordinate with the lead engineer on more complex RFIs and design changes. + Prepare and review design documents for construction. + Understand client interests and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD. + Civil Engineering knowledge. + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline or Construction Management. + Familiarity with working in field or construction settings. + Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with CAD drawings (can be from school). Work Environment Will work remotely and on client site. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience working on a long-term T-Line project, working closely with engineers and having the chance to be client-facing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
