This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Hybrid Whiskey Procurement Specialist        
Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Hybrid Whiskey Procurement Specialist will include:           Compensation (Range): 23-27.59 / hour This is a 12 month, full-time, paid contract in Procurement. Throughout the assignment, you will have multiple opportunities for visibility and exposure to distillation technology, distillation materials (grains, yeast, barrels), senior management, the Brand Technical Center, and suppliers. This position will receive individual coaching and training from their manager and cross-functional mentor and the same kind of performance feedback given to full-time employees. Execute purchasing strategies in accordance with agreed upon material plans at the optimum cost and quality Plan materials and logistics used for production of company brands Work with innovation teams to develop a supply chain for new products Manage supplier relations, technical requirements used in whiskey production Lead project work ranging from identifying and introducing potential suppliers into the business, to building processes and implementing cross-functional ways of working Analyze market and industry conditions to develop supply strategies and recommendations Assist with contract negotiations, including competitive analysis, benchmarking industry standards, cost modelling, reviewing total business value (service, quality, etc.) to present business case

Job Requirements
As a Hybrid Whiskey Procurement Specialist you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Unrestricted US work authorization now and in the future Legal Drinking Age (21 years) by the start of employment Strong problem-solving skills; ability to gather and analyze data Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects to conclusion Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate with all levels in the organization Confidence, adaptability, and resiliency in challenging situations and a fast-paced environment Looking for 1+ years of Procurement candidate with good experience in procurement skillset, attention to detail, independent worker who is eager to learn this role. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to gather and analyze data.
