Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer to lead and assist in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design for Infrastructure design projects.\n

There is potential to work out of another Summit office besides Raleigh, NC. \n\nBS in Civil Engineering or related field\n3+ years of progressive hydrologic analysis and hydraulic design experience\nLicensure as a Professional Engineer in North Carolina or ability to obtain within one year.\nKnowledge of and experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with step backwater programs (HEC-RAS) and knowledge of FEMA requirements. \nExperience in Drainage design and Erosion Control design.\nExperience with Microstation, Open Roads Designer, or Civil3D. \nWillingness to learn, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).\n\n

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:\n\nDOT (any state) design experience.\nMunicipal stormwater system modeling experience\n2D hydraulic modeling experience.\nBMP Inspection and Design Experience.\nCFM Certification.\nInteraction with clients and public agencies will be required periodically.\nSurvey experience and data management\nLocal candidates preferred\n\n
