The hourly rate of pay is $21.90. This position is located at our Plant on Route 30 in Gettysburg.** The Press Operator monitors and cleans press equipment to ensure quality standards are met. Major Functions and Scope: + Monitors efficient operation of press equipment within control plans. + Identifies minor mechanical problems and performs adjustments to equipment as needed. + Performs routine cleaning of equipment as needed for color changes. + Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor. + Follows standard operating and safety procedures. + Keeps area safe, clean and organized. + Performs other related duties as required. Education and Knowledge: + High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: + 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience. Competencies: + Good oral and written communications skills. + Good record keeping skills. + Good listening skills. + Accurate measurement capability. + Ability to understand and speak basic English. + Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
