What You Will Be Doing:

As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be in the field or the shop, depending on workload, diagnosing hydraulic failures and conducting component-related repairs. You will routinely remove and install hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors, and hoses for customers. In this position you must be flexible to work in all industry types: marine, industrial, and shop environments including small, confined spaces. Candidates must furnish their own tools, be able to operate industry-associated heavy equipment, and complete all assigned work in an accurate and timely manner.

Primary Responsibilities: Teardown and inspect all components, including cylinders, pumps, motors, and hoses. Diagnose hydraulic systems and understand the components and their functions. Disassemble and assemble hydraulic components. Fluid and filter exchanges as needed based on oil sample analysis. Provide failure analysis and processes of repair. Work safely in a shop environment and customer site while following all company safety guidelines. Source hydraulic parts from OEM and aftermarket sources. Read and understand service materials. Clean and maintain all work areas. Work assigned overtime as needed. Complete job paperwork while maintaining and tracking your labor hours and parts usage. Additional Responsibilities: Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner. Additional duties as assigned by manager. Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of tools applicable to the position, and the desire to learn.  You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.  The ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision is required for this position as well.  You should work in a clean manner and maintain a high level of professionalism as you may be working directly at the customer’s facility or job site.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Required Qualifications/Skills: General mechanic knowledge and previous hydraulic experience required. Basic Technician skills Basic computer skills: outlook, excel, word, and teams. Preferred Qualifications/Skills: Course work from accredited trade school, college or university with emphasis in mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electronics is desirable. Values:
