**Job Title: Hydraulic Technician (APPLY NOW FOR A CALL TODAY)** **Job Description** Provide routine electrical, hydraulic assembly, testing, maintenance, and fabrication on pumps and motors. This role involves tearing down, building, and repairing hydraulic pumps and motors using hand and power tools while following step-by-step manual instructions at a bench. Initially, you will learn to do tear downs and, once comfortable, will shift to building, testing, and repairing the motors or pumps. This position focuses solely on pumps and motors, with no valve or cylinder work involved. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine electrical and hydraulic assembly, testing, maintenance, and fabrication on pumps and motors. + Utilize hand and power tools to tear down, build, and repair hydraulic pumps and motors. + Follow step-by-step manual instructions to complete work orders at a bench. + Learn to conduct tear downs initially and then progress to building, testing, and repairing motors or pumps. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Experience with hydraulic systems + Proficiency in using hand and power tools + Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills + Experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a diesel mechanic + Experience working with hydraulic fluid power systems + Ability to work on cars, such as tearing out motors and replacing pumps + Strong mechanical history **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in an air-conditioned building with good room for growth into higher-level technician or lead roles. **Work Environment** The work environment includes working alongside 2 technicians at the CR location, with a total of about 10-12 employees including shipping and receiving staff. The facility is generally clean, though working with hydraulic fluid means you can expect to get dirty. The hours are 8am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with potential for overtime before or after shifts and on Saturdays. Candidates typically average 45-50 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savage, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
