Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic systems and components both in the branch and occasionally off-site. Therefore, candidates will be required to have a valid driver's license in order to drive a company vehicle. They will also be required to prepare estimates for repairs after diagnosing the problem. Additionally, candidates will need to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes. This is a first shift position from Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM.
ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components both in the branch and off-site.Prepare estimates for repairs after diagnosing the problem.Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.Drive company vehicle as required.Essential Skills5 years of experience as a service technician.3-5 years of experience troubleshooting or working as a mechanic on hydraulic pumps/valves.Positive attitude.Valid driver's license.Proficiency in hydraulics, valves, mechanical repair, hand tools, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulic systems, power tools, and hydraulic assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsSkill to formulate a sound decision using available information.Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a task.Experience working at customer sites in accordance with their work rules.Why Work Here?
This position offers the opportunity to transition into a field role within one year, with a truck and phone allowance provided at the one-year mark.
Work Environment
The work environment includes a shop setting and may involve ride-along requirements for field team duties due to being a newer team.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
