**Job Description** Working in a bench repair and testing environment in the Hydraulics shop of the MRO component repair building, the Technician will disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, test, and certify hydraulic systems and related units for heavy-lift helicopters. The role involves performing overhaul, repair, and testing of rotorcraft hydraulic components and component parts; fabricating and installing hydraulic tubing and hoses; and servicing hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting maintenance manuals, cleaning and inspecting hydraulic systems, components, and component parts for damage and wear, replacing or repairing damaged or worn hydraulic components and parts, and utilizing special tools and equipment to perform tests and checks to confirm hydraulic component or aircraft hydraulic system serviceability. **Hard Skills** + Disassembly and reassembly of hydraulic systems + Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic components + Testing and certifying hydraulic systems + Fabricating and installing hydraulic tubing, hoses, and pipes + Reading and interpreting maintenance manuals + Utilizing special tools and equipment for testing **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Problem-solving + Manual dexterity + Team collaboration + Communication skills **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6-12 Months. **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Aurora, Oregon. **Work Environment** Component division of MRO facility, working in the hydraulic area, repair and test benches.
