Hydro Vac Truck Operator – 4 Day Work Week!

 

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Hydro Vac Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating vacuum trucks to perform a variety of tasks, including vacuuming water from storm drains and cleaning out industrial tanks. The vacuum trucks are semis with 2500-gallon tanks and function similarly to a shop vac.

Daily Tasks:

·        Conduct daily inspections of all fluids, belts, and hoses on the vacuum trucks.

·        Drive the vacuum truck to the job location.

·        Set up hoses from the truck to the cleaning site and monitor the vacuum operation.

·        Break down hose setup and store hoses after the job is complete.

·        Dump the truck by using a trolling motor and hose to vacuum waste from holding tanks.

·        Perform tasks at heights up to 100 feet on fully guarded platforms.

·        Lift up to 50 pounds.

·        Sweep and clean up spills on floor level.

·        Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Shift:

·        4-day work weeks, day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (your choice).

·        Overtime offered on your off day if desired.

·        Pay: $21/hr.

Training:

·        The first week will consist of OSHA 10 training in a classroom setting, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday. Attendance is mandatory for all training days.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

·        At least 1 year of consistent general labor work history.

·        Agricultural background preferred but not required.

·        Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

·        Steel toe boots are required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00
