Summary Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Hydroelectric Power Plant Operator. Duty Location: Shasta, California Responsibilities -Operates the main units, station service boards, pumping plant, and water conveyance equipment in order to meet electrical load and water schedules. -Prepares switching orders and performs switching and/or valve lineups to configure plant systems for equipment maintenance or repair. -Provides technical support/direction to various crafts, engineers, powerplant operators, etc. -Provides requested information in a timely and professional manner. -Perform on the spot evaluations of system and equipment conditions in order to properly restore system and equipment to operation. -Evaluates and analyzes operating interruptions and diagnoses cause. -Perform facility inspections to insure the proper operation of the equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. You must be suitable for federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
