Hydrologic Modeler
**MUST LIVE IN FLORIDA FOR THIS ROLE****THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION BUT THE INDIVIDUAL MUST LIVE IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA**
Job Description

We are currently seeking a Water Resources expert to support our water modeling projects with various water management districts and municipal clients.

ResponsibilitiesAdvise customers on their most complex modeling challenges.Develop and propose solutions that bring value to our customers by helping them solve their critical water modeling challenges.Provide expertise with ICPR/StormWise, as well as knowledge in other related software (AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, etc.).Develop watershed-level models.Build real-time flood forecasting systems.Evaluate/Assess data, understand data gaps, collect additional data, and incorporate the data into modeling platforms.Run simulations and calibrate water models.Support other engineering, design, and GIS related tasks based on individual passions and qualifications.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in a STEM related field.3+ years of water resources experience, including hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling.Experience with large-scale watershed studies.Expert in ICPR/StormWise.Knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM or equivalent software.Ability to process/analyze results and prepare technical reports.Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.Ability to work within a team environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
