Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Hyperbaric Chamber Technician to join our healthcare facility in Baltimore, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers while ensuring optimal patient care and safety.

Operate and monitor hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers during treatment sessionsConduct pre-treatment safety checks and equipment inspectionsMonitor patients during treatments and respond to any emergenciesMaintain accurate treatment records and documentationPerform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of hyperbaric chambersAssist medical staff in patient preparation and positioningEnsure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirementsConduct equipment sterilization and cleaning proceduresParticipate in emergency response drills and training sessionsCompany Description

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCurrent Certification in Hyperbaric Technology (CHT)Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationsMinimum of 2 years' experience in hyperbaric medicine or related fieldDemonstrated knowledge of hyperbaric chamber operations and safety protocolsStrong understanding of diving physics and physiologyProficiency in operating and maintaining medical monitoring equipmentExperience with medical documentation and record-keeping systemsExcellent technical troubleshooting abilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situationsFamiliarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulationsAdditional Information
